Split Yacht Charter

Split is the largest city in Dalmatia and the driving force of the region where you can find the biggest offer of boats for rental. Split is surrounded by the beautiful islands of Brač, Hvar, Šolta and Čiovo, and should you decide to book your boat in this region, it will be a great starting point. Namely, Split is at the center of Dalmatia, and whichever way you set sail, you won’t be wrong.

Charter a sailboat, motor yacht or catamaran and venture out to explore the islands and Split’s local waters. When you arrive at Brač, take a walk to its highest peak, Vidova gora, and find an unforgettable view at 778 meters above sea level. This island will hide you from curious looks, since it has many secluded coves that are best reached by boat. Surely you have heard of the world-famous Zlatni rat beach in Bol, so make sure to visit it.

If you’re looking for a crazy night out, we recommend you to stay awhile on Hvar. One of Dalmatia’s most popular islands has a rich gastronomic offer and a large number of night clubs where you’re likely to bump into a world-famous singer or actor. If you’re staying on this island for a few days, you can choose a berth at the ACI Marina Palmižana, on the island of Sveti Klement, the largest of the Pakleni islands. Make sure to include in your travel plans the Blue Grotto (Modra špilja), located in the small cove of Balun on the island of Biševo. You will enter the 24 m long and 10-12 m wide cave via a long sea passageway. You can use a smaller boat to enter one of the cave’s openings, while the other opening is below sea surface. We guarantee an indescribable experience, as the cave’s silvery blue glow will leave you speechless.

If you would like to rent a gulet, Split is the right place for you. The majority of charterers that rent these slightly rustic, but romantic and charming boats keep their beloved vessels in Split’s marinas. Gulet crews will give you a warm welcome and make sure you feel like a part of the family as you sail along the beautiful Adriatic coast.

The Split region contains many marinas where you can moor your boat, and if you take a walk in the city, you should definitely order a coffee on Split’s famous Riva promenade and enjoy a slice of true Dalmatian lifestyle. Make sure to visit the Diocletian’s Palace, one of the most significant ancient buildings, where the Roman emperor retired after years of military campaigns to enjoy the rest of his life in peace.

In the vicinity of Split is Trogir, a town which has been under UNESCO’s protection since 1997. It is the best preserved Romanesque and Gothic town in Europe with no less than four marinas nearby where you can rent or moor your boat.

If you’re landing at the Split Airport, you can get to nearby towns or any of the numerous marinas by a taxi or a pre-arranged transfer service.

You can find all flight details on the Airport’s website:
