Sibenik Yacht Charter

Šibenik is located in the central part of the Croatian Adriatic coast, and sailing through the Šibenik Channel of St. Anthony (Kanal Sv. Ante) will fill you with awe. This channel, up to 220 m wide, offers a fantastic view of Šibenik and its entire archipelago, including the St. Nicholas Fortress (Tvrđava Sv .Nikole) and numerous other natural sights. Such entrance to the city makes it absolutely worthwhile to charter a yacht and visit Šibenik by boat.

There are 242 islands and islets to sail among in the Šibenik archipelago, and Kornati, its most famous group of islands, simply must have a place in your sailing itinerary. The ideal way to explore each of the islets is by enjoying on the deck of a sailboat, yacht or catamaran. The Kornati National Park consists of 89 islands, islets and reefs, with unique, crystal clear waters that you won’t find anywhere else. In case you get hungry, no worries, as there are some twenty restaurants and wine cellars in Kornati, where you can try various Dalmatian specialties prepared according to old traditional recipes.

The island of Žir is the largest in the Šibenik archipelago, and if you get caught in bad weather while at sea, make use of the Mala Stupica, Vela Stupica and Tratinska coves and wait till the weather settles down.

Zlarin island, located to the southwest of Šibenik is known as the island of corals! An ideal place to buy a unique gift for your loved one, right? Due to its beautiful nature and crystal clear sea, Zlarin used to be called “the golden island”. If you’re looking for a berth, you will surely find a place for your boat on the island of Murter, as it boasts with no less than three marinas offering a large number of berths.

Only 18 km to the north of Šibenik is Skradin. A charming little town, where the beautiful river Krka flows into the sea, will captivate you with its rich gastronomic offer, among other things. Moor your boat at the Skradin marina and take an excursion boat to visit the Krka National Park and find out why Skradin is the favorite summer destination of world’s billionaires.

If you’re arriving to Šibenik by plane, check the flight time that suits you best and, depending on that, choose one of the two nearest airports - Split Airport, which is 54 km away, or Zadar Airport, 67 km from Šibenik. Don’t worry about how to get to Šibenik or any of the nearby marinas, as you can simply get a taxi or pre-arrange a transfer service.
