Zadar Yacht Charter

Situated at the very heart of the Adriatic, Zadar will enchant you at the first sight of the city’s beautiful sea promenade with its world famous attractions - the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation. Zadar is perfect for enjoying a quiet, family vacation, and you can moor at the Zadar Marina, which is only a 10-minute walk from the city center.

The Zadar region is known for its numerous marinas, which makes Zadar an ideal choice to charter a yacht, a sailboat or any other type of vessel. In fact, in Sukošan, only 7 miles from Zadar, is Marina Dalmacija, the largest marina in Europe! Only 15 miles from Zadar is the town of Biograd, where you can find a marina at the very town center and stay at the heart of events.

The Zadar archipelago consists of 24 islands and some 300 islets, ideal for exploration by a sailboat, catamaran or yacht. Islands like Pašman, Ugljan, Dugi otok and Pag are self-contained heavens and thus sailing fans' favorite destinations. The main attraction of Dugi otok is the Telašćica cove, where you can find 25 beautiful beaches and - believe it or not - a salty lake! If you prefer heights and the sight of a beautiful blue sea, you will be amazed by Strmac. From its cliffs, up to 161 m tall, extends a breathtaking view of Kornati. Make sure to bring scuba diving equipment and anchor your boat here, as diving is allowed in several attractive spots near the cliffs.

Find protection from the wind at the Zapuntel port on the island of Molat or stop by at the “center of the world”, i.e. the Rava island and enjoy total peace and quiet. Nearby, there are also Rivanj, Ist, Premuda and many other islands, and all nautical fans are especially delighted by the fact that none of them can be reached by car, so you can forget about the urban hustle and bustle and take in the sounds of cicadas and crickets.

When you reach Pag, be sure to buy an original souvenir - the Pag cheese. Pag is known far and wide for its premium cheese, and it is simply a delicacy that you must try. UFO fans will be intrigued by the secret of the “Pag Triangle”, i.e. a megalithic stone imprint, the emergence of which is associated with UFO sightings.

If you’re planning to get to Zadar by plane, it’s important to know that the city is connected to a large number of European destinations. After landing at the Zadar Airport, you can quickly get to any local marina by a bus or taxi, or you can arrange for a transfer in advance.
